TOP LOCATION SOON IN NEW SPLENDOR
SES has managed and owned the KING CROSS shopping center in Zagreb since 2018. It was the first shopping center in Croatia’s capital city, opening its doors in 2002. As a regional meeting place, the shopping center has been a firm favorite with people living in the catchment area for many years. Strong magnet businesses are a key factor in the success story of this traditional center. In 2020, the anchor tenant, Decathlon, expanded its premises to cover a total shopping area of 5,000 m². SES redesigned part of the adjacent mall.
2025 announces a brand-new look for KING CROSS. SES is investing around 40 million euros to completely refurbish and boost the appeal of the shopping mall. With this in mind, the forecourt also features in the plan alongside a new center and attractive outdoor eating areas. The existing shopping areas will be adapted at the same time alongside the creation of adventure zones and children’s play areas. And it will be business as usual while the refurbishment is taking place. The location already stands out from the crowd in the greater Zagreb area thanks to its unique branch mix with large stores in the home & sport sectors. The refurbishment will also create the most modern INTERSPAR in Croatia.
